When will Government dares to tax agricultural income to check tax evasion and widen tax base-BudgetWishList2009 article

Hi sir,

 I forward below an article for Budget Wish List 2009 from my side...for  doing the needful at your end..

When will Government dares to tax agricultural income to check tax evasion and widen tax base.
"With reference to persons having income from both agricultural  income, perhaps the time has come for the government should seriously consider fixing, in consultation with state governments, a threshold limit, beyond which the income of such persons from agricultural sources could be brought under the tax net."
Alongwith taxing only business people/corporates/Employees, why not farmers...  be taxed. Do they feel vote bank
 is taxing people who earn more than 5 lakh a  year, they waive of the loans for the need of votes..
 Robbing the peter to pay the Pal..  will this government be of any different from earlier one's.
 Corporate farming cult should be taxed atleast to start with.
 since it increases, widening tax base by bringing revenues to the government. by another important
 channel...
 Show equality to all money earners so that all will help the government in contributing towards revenue.
 which may end up into several thousands of crores.. as tax income. on agricultural sector.
