Budget Wishlist

Dear Editor

Again the budget will be presented by the newly formed govt.Again some new steps will be taken for the betterment of the Indian people.

But are we really progressing or the great mass created by our population is driving our country.Whenever we visit other countries we always compare that country with our country.

We feel very sorry about our country,my only wish is to the concerned is as mentioned below:

We see the state of our hospitals in India. We call India as a growing country, and if we see condition of hospitals in India,it is pathetic. If we take an example of PGI in Chandigarh,it is one of the best medical institute in India.

If we go to the emergency ward of PGI we will see that the patients are crying and no body is there to attend them.Patients are lying along with the corridor and attendant are holding the bottles of blood/saline in their hand. Some attendant are pumping for artificial respiration. We can see people crying for ambulance(free service) but nobody is there to help them.

Where are the facilities?where are the ambulances? Are these the signs of a developing country? What all govt is planning to do?

Few years back we have launched VDIS scheme. My request to the authorities to launch such scheme again. Please utilize the money collected from the pool in creating better facilities in our hospital. This contributes to one of the core areas of infrastructure.

Warm Regards
