Budget Wish list

Honourable and Respected Finance Minister,                                           JAI HIND !!! This wish list comes from a coffee farmer who is struggling for survival. I have been indebted to commercial banks and private money lenders from 1980-30 years. Coffee gave some relief in 1995,1996 in my career as coffee farmer for 30 years . My humble Budget wish list is as follows:   1] Write off of Term Loans under SCTL [Special coffee term loan] for all coffee farmers -small and big.Both big and small farmers are indebted and lead a miserable unsecured life.   2] 100 days guaranteed work initiated by the Govt of India has led to huge labour shortage in the farming sector.Existing farms which are under production are facing labour shortage leading to low production and productivity.The scheme does not attain its purpose and makes people not to go for work.If farming has to succeed in India labour has to be available, as farming activity is labour oriented .    Thanking you, I have the honour to be , Yours obediently, Ernest   B.Ernest Coffee Planter, 6-3-17-A Main Road, Pattiveeranpatti-624211 Dindigul Dist.
