Budget wish List

Dear Sir,

Education

More Central Universities

Most of us criticize Government Organization. In the field of education especially the professional college and universities it is the government institutes that have been continuously excelling.  The government must dedicate funds and must open more colleges. Those graduating from such institutes must be prevented from migrating to the US or the west.

Private Universities

The government obviously  lacks funds therefore education must be privatized. Take the number of Private Schools especially convents , it is this which has ensured high literacy rate, similarly private bodies must be encouraged to open universities, but under the guidance and regulations of the HRD Ministry.

Develop NE States

The NE States have abundant water, forest and timber. Unfortunately the area remains undeveloped in spite of 6 decades of independence. There is no dearth of funds but lack accountability form of the Government bodies.

Agriculture and Irrigation

India is  still rural. 70% of the population reside in the villages. They are migrating to the cities to seek greener pastures. Unless adequate irrigation facilities and dams are constructed ,the problem will continue.Earmark a sizable amount

Since the UPA  has absolute majority ,they need not appease any party which is a short in the arm for the FM
