Dear Sir,

I wouls like to submit the following suggestions for the attention of the Finanace Minister.

 

Personal Income Tax- Increae the exempion limit to at least Rs 250000 

 

Remove the disparity between male and female taxpayers. I do not understand the logic behind giving a higher exemption limit to women

 

Remove the tax on interest on Bank deposits, as this works out as a disincentive for savings. If the removal cannot be considered , the limit should be raised to Rs 50000

 

Companies- Manufacturers of automobiles should be asked to pay a certain percentage of the cost of the vehicle towards infrastructure development fund- Now the transport infrastructure is not developed in tandem with the growth in the vehicles coming out. This needs to be addressed to.
