Technology can
be a great asset to SMEs

Amidst the global recession and numerous lay offs, technology can
still be a great asset to SME's and I would like to see new policies
introduced, that would help, specifically the domestic SME's benefit
from technology adoption, in their business productivity. Post the
budget, I would also like to see higher broadband penetration and
introduction of WiMAX across the country, including tier II cities.
For India, to continue being the torchbearer of IT services, the
government on priority, should look into the improvement of the
Communication Technology infrastructure.

Padmanabhan Raghavan or 'Paddy', as he is known among his colleagues,

teams. Paddy holds a Masters degree in Information Technology from the

has a Masters in Computer Applications from Madras University and a
Bachelors degree in Mathematics from Loyola College, Chennai.
