Hello,
Please find below the Budget wish list of Mr. Sanjay Salunkhe, Chief Mentor, Future Education. I) Request for corporate
1) Reduction of corporate taxation
2) Request for reducing individual taxation by increasing personal income tax exemption limit from 1.8 lakh to 2.5 lakh rupees per annum.
3) Request for removal of educational cess which is currently 2%
4) Request for removal of fringe benefit tax.
5) Request for removal of surcharge which is currently 10 %
II) Request for Individuals
1) As government needs to improve infrastructure for boosting economy which can be achieved by mobilizing resources from public., it should allow working professionals to invest up to one lakh rupees in tax free government infrastructure bonds in addition to existing tax saving schemes like PPF, LIC etc.. There are 4 Crore working professionals in organized sector in India. Even if 0.25 % of organized sector working professionals invest one lakh rupees each, government will have one lakh crore fund which is in excess of USD.20 bn. sufficient to meet major national infrastructure requirement.
III) Request for HRD Ministry
2) Within HRD ministry a department be created for focusing on increasing employability
3) MBA Colleges which are charging very high fees & yet have less than 50 % placement of students should be penalized by asking them to return 50 % of fees collected from unplaced students as most of them take educational loans from bank. This action must be taken to verify quality of students admitted whom the institute claims to have selected competitively through written test, GD & P.I. process.
4) International exposure must be provided to aspiring Indian MBA graduates to compete with global managers.
